Welcome to Northside Elementary! I am Kara Davis, proud principal of this school family where your child will be deeply known, valued, and inspired to grow.

Our mission is to build a culture of high academic expectations and foster student agency, while prioritizing the deep relationships that ensure every child feels valued – giving your child the skills to lead, serve, and thrive in an ever-changing world.
We offer a premier learning experience driven by a collaborative team of educators who utilize data-backed, research-based teaching strategies tailored to meet your child's unique needs. We believe that every student brings unique strengths to our Panther family. Through high-quality, standards-based instruction, innovative student agency programs, and strong community engagement, we meet the academic and social-emotional needs of every learner. We are excited to welcome our students and families for the 2026-2027 school year! Below you'll find important dates, reminders, and resources to help your family prepare for a successful start to the school year.
Meet the Teacher Night
Monday, August 10, 2026
4:30–5:30 p.m.
Students and families are invited to meet teachers, drop off school supplies, learn important information, and reconnect with the Northside community before the school year begins.
The school nurse will be available to discuss student health plans, and the cafeteria manager will be available to assist families with meal applications.
First Day of School
Wednesday, August 12, 2026

2026-2027 Supply List for Elementary Students
School supply lists are available in English and Spanish by grade level below.

Northside Elementary uses ParentSquare to keep families informed and connected throughout the school year.
With ParentSquare, families can:
- Receive school announcements and reminders
- Communicate with teachers and staff
- View classroom updates and photos
- Sign up for conferences and events
- Complete forms and permission slips
- Receive school and emergency notifications
For additional school news, celebrations, and highlights, follow Northside Elementary on Facebook.
Families who may qualify for meal assistance should complete a Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application.
Meal benefits do not automatically carry over from year to year. Applications must be completed annually to determine eligibility.
Starting July 1, applications may be submitted online or completed in person during Meet Your Teacher Night.
